Queen's University
Queen's University is a building that's hard to pass without admiring its grandeur. An impressive landmark plonked in south Belfast. Decorated with criss-cross windows, diamond brick patterns, spirals and spikes that'd give Harry Potter's Hogwarts a run for its money. I love the 'old'ie world'ie' style it emanates. A little bit of a show-off for Belfast City.
And so it should be. It attracts thousands of smarty-pants students every year. Built-in 1845 it's the 9th oldest university in the UK. It's been described as 'world-leading' which is a pretty BIG title from a little small island.
If you have a child, niece, nephew, brother, sister or next door neighbour graduating from Queen's University they might appreciate this sketchy number.
